Nevaï Launches in Verbier in early December 2007

Nevaï, a striking new four-star hotel situated at the heart of the Swiss Alps in Verbier, launches on the 14th and 15th of December in conjunction with Kings Verbier Fashion Weekend. Nevaï will continue the tradition of luxury and elegance that Verbier has developed as Europe’s premiere ski destination, whilst incorporating modern design and amenities.

Nevaï, (local Swiss French dialect for snow), is the new hotel from the Kings Verbier group. The hotel will incorporate 33 bedrooms, two penthouse suites, a spa, a destination restaurant and bar, and the latest incarnation of the celebrated Farm Club.

Kings Verbier is the name behind many of the best establishments in Verbier. Its portfolio includes the King’s restaurant, the hip hang-out King’s Bar, the well-known King’s Parc Hotel, and the celebrated Farm Club.

NEVAï – ACCOMMODATION

Nevaï has been designed by German-based architects Mahmoudieh Concepts. Previous work from the designers includes The 5* Flyotel Rotterdam, The 5* Mountain Resort Berchtesgaden, Austria, and the Millennium Centre in Budapest.

Nevaï will incorporate all the typical features of a luxury hotel with a chic modern Alpine design. Accommodation will consist of 33 superior rooms and 2 spectacular penthouse suites, offering high standards of comfort and design.

In each of the 33 rooms guests can relax on Egyptian cotton bedding, enjoy the entertainment systems (including i-Pod docks, CD/DVD players, and flat screen TVs) and unwind with Elemis guest products and treats from the well-stocked luxury mini bar.

In addition, most of the rooms have balconies with fantastic views over looking the Swiss Alps.

The 2 penthouses are equipped with all of the above, plus state of the art sound systems, plasma televisions, well-equipped office areas, sitting rooms, fireplaces, private entrances and secluded balconies furnished with Jacuzzis and panoramic views over the Swiss Alps.

All guests will also be invited to make use of the extensive DVD library, or to borrow one of the complimentary i-Pods.

NEVAï – RESTAURANT

The 75-cover Nevaï Restaurant will feature stunning views of the Swiss Alps, an open kitchen, a bar and a DJ. The menu offers an extensive range of meats, fish and vegetables and a flavoursome variety of Asian, Mediterranean and local side dishes.

A 20 person table for is available for hire for private events. The restaurant also incorporates a relaxed seating area with a fireplace and a bar area, as well as offering outdoor seating on heated balconies, allowing patrons to make the most of the dramatic views of the Swiss Alps.

With a winning mix of delicious food, wonderful ambiance, and stunning design, The Nevaï Restaurant is surely set to become one of the most fashionable restaurants in Verbier.

NEVAï – BAR

Downstairs from the restaurant is the in-hotel bar. With a 4 metre long open fireplace, sunken seating areas and cosy boudoir area, The Nevai Bar will serve as both the place to go in Verbier before the hitting the dance floor at The Farm Club, or as a fashionable destination bar in its own right. The bar will serve an extensive cocktails and champagne list, as well as tapas-style food.

FARM CLUB

Adjacent to Nevaï, The Farm Club has been the place to ‘see and be seen’ in Verbier for over thirty-five years. Still run by the Berardis, the two Italian brothers who founded it, The Farm Club has a loyal band of regulars who each receive their own bottle of vodka to keep behind the bar. Clientele ranges from Swiss locals up from Geneva for the weekend, to jet-setting visitors flying in from all corners of the globe. Operating on a reservations only policy, The Farm Club offers the nightlife opportunities of a big city in small, intimate atmosphere.

NEVAï – SPA

The Nevaï Spa will include a Turkish hammam, dipping pool, and sauna as well as Elemis products and a range of Elemis treatments.

The Spa opens up on to a terrace where guests can recline on lounge chairs wrapped in warm blankets, and are able to order from the Nevaï bar.

NEVAï -CONFERENCE FACILITIES

The Nevaï also offers well-equipped conference facilities, including a conference room for 35 people, projector, screen and Wi-Fi access.

VERBIER SKI RESORT

Set in the heart of the ‘Four Valley’s area of the Swiss Alps, the town offers access to over 402 km of ski runs and 93 individual ski-lifts. The extensive ski area, challenging terrain, stylish boutiques, restaurants and thriving nightlife make Verbier one of Europe’s premiere ski destinations. Verbier is approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes from the Geneva airport.
